People have been asked not to bring the snakes to the hospital…
Rattlers, Copperheads and Cottonmouths. There is no in-the-field treatment for snake bites despite what you see in the movies. People have been asked to only send pictures.

Kiii News Reporter Brian Burns spoke Tuesday with a local authority who teaches others how to treat snakebite victims. Justin Hensley, assistant professor of emergency medicine at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, said the snakes you see in your yard are most likely not the venomous kind.
